Patents.
In his paper “Global Implications of Patent Law variation," Koji Suzuki (1991) states the
lack of consistency in the world's patent laws is in serious problem. In most of the
world, patent ownership is given to the inventor that is first- to- file for a patent. However,
the united states maintains a first to invent policy.
In view of this, patent ownership can charge depending on the country. Multiple patent
ownership can result in economic problems, however, shrink is the international tension it
causes. The conflict is that the United States does not recognise patent ownership in other
countries. The Paris convention on industrial properties has asked the world intellectual
properties organisation (WIPo) to push USA to review the principal of the patents existing.

It means that farm animals spend time outside rather than being inside 24 hours a Day. Meat, eggs
or Dairy products, such as milk or cheese , can be free range. Some experts say that this type of
farming is preferable because it is less cruel and the animals are healthier. Organic food is safer
than conventional food.
Ethical clothing
Fashion is big global business. You can check the labels on your clothes to see which countries they
are made in. Some clothing manufactures have been accused of employing children and of
allowing unsafe conditions in their factories. People are becoming more and more interested in
where their clothes are made, who they are made by, and in what conditions. They want their
clothes to look good and to be ethical.
Pre-Loved clothes
Old clothes used to be called second-hand or hand-me-Downs. In Britain you can buy cheap used
clothes from charity shops such as Oxfam. Another way to recycle is to adapt the clothes you
already have. The BBC ran a clothes recycling competitions aimed at teenagers. The competition
was to redesign an old pair of jeans to create a new garnet or accessory. Clothes manufactures are
helping to make fashion a safer business and also to keep their customers informed.
