Vivir es recordar

En la clase de Literatura, leyendo el texto "Lo que me costó el amor de Laura", de Alejandro Dolina, surgió la frase " Vivir es recordar " así que decidimos escribir un texto dando nuestra opinión sobre esta frase. Así que acá está mi texto:

Hay momentos de la vida que uno prefiere olvidar, pero hay una frase que dice "Vivir es recordar" ya que hay momentos malos o buenos en la vida de uno que forjaron o forjarán un carácter o una forma de ver las cosas diferente a la que si no hubiesen pasado. Para mí, esto es cierto, ya que los momentos malos que uno pasó hicieron que uno aprenda y se vuelva más fuerte. Pero es cierto que hay gente que prefiere olvidar los momentos malos y feos de la vida para "vivir" siempre felices, pero yo creo que esto está mal, ya que si uno vive siempre feliz y contento,  no conoce la tristeza entonces no aprende a sobrellevar situaciones tristes sin olvidarlas y esto los hará más débiles ante una situación dolorosa. Así que jamás debemos intentar olvidar, sin antes aprender a recordar.

World climate

Climate is the average weather conditions recorded at a place over many years. The two most important factor are temperature and precipitation. According Wladimir Koppen`s classification of world climates: Equatorial, Tropical Continental and Monsoon are from Group A: Tropical/Mega thermal climates, Hot desert and Cold climate are from Group B: Dry arid/semiarid climates, and Tundra belongs to Group E: Polar and alpine climates 

 You can find Equatorial climate in the equator line and 10 degrees north and south, the temperature is always between (26-28C), there is no dry season and the rainfall is totally distributed all over the year, the precipitation has a value of at least 60MM it has no summer or Winter, it is typically hot and wet all the year. The precipitations are frequent in this places.

 You can find Monsoon climate in south and Central America, the temperature is mostly above 10degrees. In this climates there are wet and dry seasons, but one month is drier, it has a 60MM of precipitation but mostly 100MM.

 Tropical continental is found in Africa, Asia and South America, the temperature is near 18C almost all the year , typically it has dry seasons with a drier month and it has a precipitation of less than 60MM and also less than 100MM

 Hot desert climate is located in the desert of North Africa, the temperature is between (40-45C), these climate is generally hot, sunny and dry and it has a precipitation of about 28MM.
 Tundra climate is located in northern Canada, part of Alaska, most Greenland and northern Russia, the maximum temperature is between (7-10C) and winter temperatures can reach between (-28C to -34C). It is cold through all months of the year, Precipitation totals 6-10MM, which includes melted snow.

 You can find Cold desert in the Antarctic, Greenland and the Antarctic realm, winter temperature is between -2 to 4° C and summer temperature is between 21-26° C, The annual precipitation ranges are from 15-26 cm. Annual precipitation has reached a maximum of 46 cm and a minimum of 9 cm.

Otra vuelta de tuerca + Los otros

En la clase de Prácticas del Lenguaje, nos pidieron que relacionemos la novela "otra vuelta de tuerca" y la película "Los Otros".

La relación que yo encuentro entre las dos, es que en ambas aparecen "fantasmas" y los niños los perciben. Pero además, en "los otros", la madre está siempre intentando proteger a los niños de los supuestos fantasmas, al igual que la institutriz en "Otra vuelta de tuerca", que protege a los niños de los fantasmas de la Sra. Gessell y Peter Quint.

Se nos propuso en la clase de ciudadanía, armar una presentación sobre nuestro proyecto de nutrición...


 

Sistema Reproductor femenino

En la clase de Biología, se nos pidió que creemos una imagen interactiva sobre el sistema reporductor femenino mediante un programa llamado ThingLink, este es mi trabajo:

Oh Romeo!

In the Language class, Andrea, the teacher asked us to write a review on a play that we saw called Oh Romeo! Oh Romeo!. This play was created, written and performed by students from Newlands School, our school. The instructions that she gave us were:

"What´s your opinion about the play? Why did/didn´t you like it? What did the script writers take into account when they wrote the script? Why do you think it meant a lot of work to put on this play? What aspects do you think were taken into account? Why was the play successful? Write an essay covering the above points (150 Words)"

A report on Oh Romeo! Oh Romeo!

The play Oh Romeo! Oh Romeo! is an incredible play created by students from Newlands School. I believe that people in the School should be proud of it. It included parts of all sort of plays such as "Romeo and Juliet", "Hamlet", "The tempest" and "Macbeth". Even though it took a lot of time, it finally ended up being the best play of the festival called "Festival Shakespeare Buenos Aires". There where lots of contestants and lot of great plays, whereas I still think it was the best of all.

In my opinion, if people saw the play, they would like it. Although,
i´m against the people that think it was a bad play. I don´t agree when people say they don´t like it. Due to their great effort, they where able to win a price.

In general, the people enjoyed it and liked it on they voted for it to win in the Facebook page from "Festival Shakespeare Buenos Aires". What´s more, they won the competition as the "Online most voted version". In addition, the student called Joaquin Panigatti won a price for being the "best actor" of all the plays. Despite they couldn´t win the highest price, hey did a great job. In spite, I still think their play was the best. Furthermore, they were almost able to win a bigger price, but they couldn´t because of that they participated only in drama, and the competition included all lots of other subjects.
