Oh Romeo!

In the Language class, Andrea, the teacher asked us to write a review on a play that we saw called Oh Romeo! Oh Romeo!. This play was created, written and performed by students from Newlands School, our school. The instructions that she gave us were:

"What´s your opinion about the play? Why did/didn´t you like it? What did the script writers take into account when they wrote the script? Why do you think it meant a lot of work to put on this play? What aspects do you think were taken into account? Why was the play successful? Write an essay covering the above points (150 Words)"

A report on Oh Romeo! Oh Romeo!

The play Oh Romeo! Oh Romeo! is an incredible play created by students from Newlands School. I believe that people in the School should be proud of it. It included parts of all sort of plays such as "Romeo and Juliet", "Hamlet", "The tempest" and "Macbeth". Even though it took a lot of time, it finally ended up being the best play of the festival called "Festival Shakespeare Buenos Aires". There where lots of contestants and lot of great plays, whereas I still think it was the best of all.

In my opinion, if people saw the play, they would like it. Although,
i´m against the people that think it was a bad play. I don´t agree when people say they don´t like it. Due to their great effort, they where able to win a price.

In general, the people enjoyed it and liked it on they voted for it to win in the Facebook page from "Festival Shakespeare Buenos Aires". What´s more, they won the competition as the "Online most voted version". In addition, the student called Joaquin Panigatti won a price for being the "best actor" of all the plays. Despite they couldn´t win the highest price, hey did a great job. In spite, I still think their play was the best. Furthermore, they were almost able to win a bigger price, but they couldn´t because of that they participated only in drama, and the competition included all lots of other subjects.

Texto Argumentativo

En la clase de Practicas del Lenguaje, comenzamos a ver un tema llamado "El texto Argumentativo", estudiamos sus características y hablamos sobre el tema. La última clase, la profesora hizo un cuadro en el pizarrón y nosotros tuvimos que recrearlo virtualmente, acá esta mi trabajo:

¡Lleguemos a cero!

La profesora Graciela Catalá de Biología, nos pidió que hagamos una entrada sobre un tema nuevo que empezamos a ver, VIH/SIDA. La profesora subió un video a su blog sobre "ONUSIDA". Y nosotros tuvimos que responder una serie de preguntas sobre este video:

A) ¿Qué es ONUSIDA?

B) ¿Cuales son los objetivos que proponen?

C) ¿A que se refiere el título de la entrada?

A lo que yo respondí:

A/B) "ONUSIDA" es una "organización" la cual esta decidida a acabar con la discriminación, la infeccion y las muertes causadas por el VIH/SIDA. "ONUSIDA" quiere consientizar a la gente de America Latina sobre la existencia del VIH, los cuidados que hay que tener para no tenerlo, como neutralizar la enfermedad y que no hay que discriminar o tratar diferente a alguien con VIH.

C) El título de la entrada se refiere a que las metas de "ONUSIDA" son que hayan:

CERO discriminación.

CERO muertes.

CERO infección.

Está en nuestras manos

En la clase de Biología comenzamos a ver algo sobre el VIH y sus cuidados. Hicimos una actividad la cual consistía en ver un afiche publicado en el blog de la profesora Graciela Clatalá y hacer un listado de las palabras más importantes incluidas en ese afiche. Luego, tuvimos que explicar el significado del título "Está en nuestras manos".

Acá está lo que hice: 

El título "Está en nuestras manos" para mí significa que lo que nosotros hacemos con nuestras vidas o si nos cuidamos o no, está en nuestras manos, nosotros decidimos lo que queremos hacer con nuestras vidas. Eso significa que el hecho de cuidarnos o no o de en una forma "Valorar" nuestras vidas nosotros decidimos si pasa o no.
